Imago Habitus and Differences from alike species

  • Передние крылья светло-серого окраса, с черными поперечными линиями, образующими маленькую букву W. Волнистая линия нечеткая, светлая, почковидное пятно также светлое, вниз от него располагается срединное пятно, окаймленное черным. Задние крылья желтые, с узкой и черной срединной перевязью, не достигающей внутреннего краю. Перевязь у внешнего края крыла черная, со светлым угловатым пятном. [85].

  • Для Catocala diversa характерна красно-бурая гусеница с желтой спинной и черной боковой линиями. В отличие от многих других видов рода Catocala, у личинок C. diversa нет какого-либо вздутия или «шишки» на восьмом кольце. [85].
