  • Самка этого толстотела может достигать размеров бабочки мертвая голова, самцы скромнее. Передние крылья желто-бурые, с черным рисунком, усыпаны черными же чешуйками и несут две опять же черные перевязи. Задние крылья светло-бурые, с красноватым оттенком. Самки заметно темнее самцов. [85].
